March 19th: Pizza Island Extravaganza! All mah studio ladies and I are reading together for the first time at Brooklyn Fireproof. We are: Sarah Glidden, Julia Wertz, Domitille Collardey, Karen Sneider, Lisa Hanwalt, Kate Beaton and Meredith Gran. 7pm

April 9-10: MoCCA tabling with most of Pizza Island

April 16th-17th: Stumptown Comics fest in Portland, OR, tabling w/Sarah Glidden

May 12th: Benefit reading at Word Bookstore

September 3rd: Duo release party with Aaron Renier at Desert Island! Aaron and I have books coming out at the same time to we decided to embarrass ourselves together. Join us for the release of Drinking at the Movies and the Unsinkable Walker Bean! We’ll be doing readings/slideshows and selling a limited edition collaborate screen print. 7pm-9

September 10th: Live comics reading at Atomic Books in Baltimore, MD with a bunch of othe fine folks.

Sep 11th & 12th- SPX in Bethesda, Maryland

Sep 12th: via the SPX program: “Kate Beaton and Julia Wertz in conversation” moderated by one of my favorite cartoonists, Dustin Harbin. 1:30 in the White Flint Amphitheater

Sep 29th: Seven Second Delay, live at Upright Citizens Brigade. 6-7pm

Oct 9th (saturday) signing from 5-6 at New York Comic Con at the Three Rivers Press/Random House booth.

Oct 9th: NYCC 7:30-8:30: Then I’ll be speaking on a panel about indie comics with Jason Little, Mike Dawson and Alex Robinson in room 1A17

Oct 15th: book release party/signing with Vanessa Davis at Needles and Pens in San Francisco

Oct 16th: APE in San Francisco. I will be there on Saturday only from 1-3 at the Sparkplug table.

Oct 23rd: Book release party with Vanessa Davis at Reading Frenzy in Portland, OR. We’ll be doing slideshows and have baked goods galore!
