Why would anyone question the disclaimer? Because people are idiots and will eat that little silica packet unless you specifically tell them not to.

So I ordered a copy of DATM as I got fed up being a fan of your art but not supporting it financially. Looking forward to buy the new book when it's out, until then it's visiting the Museum :)

Hi Julia, I just finished reading my copy of Drinking at the Movies (a fantastic surprise gift from my boyfriend, who didn't know to order directly from you, sorry) and I wanted to let you know I completely loved it! It was great to see the snippets you'd posted online come together in one story, and some of the art is so detailed and impressive on the physical page (as compared to seeing it on a computer screen). Thank you so much for sharing your experiences with your readers; as a twentysomething just making it into the real world myself, I certainly found it relatable and somewhat reassuring!

Looking forward to your next book!

Haha. Yeah, definitely on the fortunately. When you're reading an auto-bio comic, there's only so much fucked-up woe you want the character/author to have to endure, no matter how comedic.
