choice words about fashion
Tuesday, November 23rd, 2010I’m going to be switching some junk around on this site, maybe moving it all somewheres else, but if I don’t get back for a bit, I’ll just remind you now to come to the Brooklyn Comics and Graphics Fest on Dec 4th! it’s the best convention ever.
Also I’ll continue to update my blog over the holiday since I’m not going aaaanywhere. Happy Thanksgiving!

It’s been a while since I’ve visited your page here. I just wanted to tell ya that I’m a fan and wishing you well with all of my might. Peace.

I don’t go into “fancy” clothing stores (i.e. any store that isn’t K-Mart or Target) or “fancy” restaurants and cafes (i.e. stuff that isn’t part of some huge chain) because I don’t feel worthy of them.
:c

Do they still make “paper doll” books? Cos this would be a good one, the “Julia the Cartoonist Paper Doll–Dress Her for Nighttime, Daytime, or Playtime!”

I use to be a t-shirt and jeans person too. As I’ve gotten older I’ve come to the conclusion that fashion doesn’t have to be vain. It’s just another way to express yourself creatively. Okay, fuck the zen shit…

Yeah, the “Angela Lansbury” outfit screams “I solve murders in a sea side resort town.” It sort of evens out the one with the red plaid pajama pants, which says “I was killed in a meth lab explosion.” Cute comic, cool article. That pic of with the umbrella is so sweet it gave me a tooth ache.

Alrighty then, Miss Marples wears granny panties under the “Angela Lansbury.” That’s my secret too, not like Vermont Country Store granny panties, but yes…Sensible underpants. Though that catalog is hilarious with its selection of “personal massage” devicesXDDD

Whenever I’m home I dress that way too. My favorite polar fleece pj bottoms with snowflakes in the winter and my black sweatpants with white stripes in the summer. And a red tank all year round.
Hell, at least I’m somewhat coordinated. That’s a step up!
