I totally would if I were anywhere near Brooklyn. Unfortunately I’m not. Not by about 3,400 miles I’m not.

My favorite thing about that flyer, is the way it looks like everything is balancing on your head… while you drink a beer!
Like a total circus side-show bad-ass… all sitting on the hood of a Trans-Am while Molly Hatchett plays on an eight-track. All wearing a RATT t-shirt with the sleeves torn off.

The flyer begs for captions. What is Batman thinking?..Why are those people yelling?..What does it feel like to have all of the above on your head while trying to drink beer?

Dear Julia Wertz,
Thanks for your comics. I am sick right now and they are the only thing making me feel better.
I hope you get so popular that people start giving you money for free.
Or booze or cheese, whichever you prefer.

that’ll never happen because as my mom always says, “there’s no such thing as free blow jobs.” I mean, free money.

Blowjobs are one of those strange things in the evolution of the species that not a single solitary man has any argument against. Of course there are those things that NEARLY everyone appreciates, like buttery movie theater popcorn or sleeping in. But there will always be some sourpuss who will speak out against these things. But I don’t know if there’s ever been a male who spoke out against getting a blowjob. Even if it was a bad toothy one.

It was great meeting you, Julia! And I loved seeing all the little details you put into your work. I used to have one of those giant water heaters in my old apartment, and every time it turned on I wanted to kill myself.

Heyyy Juuulliiiaaa.
I remember once upon a time, you had a link up to that place where you reviewed books and things. I cannot seem to find it anymore . . . although I may just be skipping over something really obvious. Anyways, whattheheck was that site called? It was super neat.
Goood luck with the show.
