We have this little tradition: in April she'll send me some dough to open an account with AT&T, and when she calls the first thing out of her mouth is something like "Good thing one of us can pay your phone bill." I used to keep up the payments, but nowadays I like to let AT&T figure it out in their own time. Anyway, if I paid, mom might think I don't love her anymore. Actually, my mom likes to call me on that day and tell me that herself. I saw the title and immediately thought that it was going to be a grotesque tale of some sordid affair involving alcohol and other such enhancements, passing out and eventually awakening to find yourself in some strange and exotic locale.
