you can listen to the fanboy radio interview here and i really hope my voice doesn’t sound like that in real life. annooooying.

Love the podcast interview. You should post a comic drawn with your toes

I really identify with the “making you feel bad about staying indoors” thing on that white people list. It really speaks to the octoroon in me.

I treated the blog like one of those personality tests, tallying up how many applied to me. (Is that perhaps another item for the blog?) I got 22 out of the 77, but the ones I did get were dead-on-balls in pegging me.
I also like how the tone of the blog isn’t exactly making fun, so much as telling folks how to use this information to manipulate white friends. SOOOOOOO much better.
And how the fuck is Nascar not in this list? The indy 500 is the largest live sports event in America! And it’s so white that the sun reflecting off the crowd focuses onto the grass in the middle of the track and ignites it, like a huge whitey death ray.

cyber high 5 on the interview, julia.
and dont worry, your humor outshines your annoying voice, probably.

your podcast was a barrel of fun. your voice is actually not how i pictured it but you sound like a replica of my cousin’s voice who is a radio DJ so by association, you have a voice for radio. meaning it doesn’t sound anooooying with four O’s. keep up the dastardly good work my blue collar celebrity.

Noooooo!!! After stumbling on FartParty yesterday, I went through and read each one… and now I’ve reached the end…
Jules (you’ve been given another nickname, this time through t3h intarw3bs), your comic is hilarious, and I think you’re awesome. I’m moving to New York soon, so we should definitely hang out! Woo creepy Internet stalking!

After listening to that interview, I’d have to go against the general consensus and state that Ms. Wertz sounds more or less exactly what I figured she would. Whether that reflects badly on her, or myself for picturing what her voice sounds like is entirely up to the viewing audience (although I’m placing my bet on the latter!).

I’m an idiot. I’m missing the link somehow. Where is it exactly?
February 29th, 2008 at 6:49 pm
naw, it’s the weird coloring, put your cursor over the word “here” and click- that’s the link.
and for the love of god, please, no one call me Jules. nicknames can only be appointed by people I know in real life. hence- Juno Jugs, Calamity Julia and the soon to be revealed, munchkin sugarpop

the interview was really fun to listen to- are there any more online where you talk about your work?

Loving the comics. I swear I’ll buy some stuff from ya when I have money, lol, but I’m kinda broke at the moment.

Well now I feel right dopey, since I swear I tried clicking on the ‘here’ before. Thanks though. Perhaps it’s because I only have one contact lens until Monday, and my glasses have embarked an exciting road trip headed to Montreal in the cupholder of my friend’s car. Shucks.
