When I was younger my mouth was too small so I had to have a bunch of teeth pulled. I also had an underbite and had to wear an irritating retainer that showed under my teeth. Got lots of questions about that... Also had headgear and braces and all that crap, but I'm finally done. I also know another girl whose missing the same teeth you were. I had an open-under bite. So... I had head gear to move my top jaw forward and bottom jaw back. That worked for a bit 'til they grew and went back to where they were. Then I had that palatal metal shit in my mouth where my mom had to expand it twice a day with a key (like you). Then I had braces for a year and a half (only my top teeth). I got the metal wire on the back of my teeth and had to wear the retainer every night. Then I had to get braces again (still have them). Got all 4 wisdom teeth out last January ('10). Then 8 weeks ago, I got surgery where he sawed my top jaw horizontally, moved it forward, screwed hooks in to attach them, sliced part of my bottom jaw on both sides near the back to shorten my jaw then screw them back together. In my x-rays, I have 3 screws on each side of my bottom jaw and 2 hooks on my top jaw. I also have little scars on my jaw on both sides of my face.
