returning to SF
Saturday, December 29th, 2007thanks…
to everyone who got their “I Saw You…” contracts in- i can’t say it was fun returning to a fat stack of businessy mail, but at least this noise is almost over.
to Leann for the awesome DIY calender, I might just have to steal that idea!
to Atomic Books for my rad new hoodie, thanks to terry for the olden timey post cards, I’m gonna frame that shit and put it next to the great little bear card from Arlene (thanks lady!)
to matt b who sent me the funniest christmas card ever. agreed, adults are totally fucking stupid.
to chris s for the bear post card. really, getting bear stuff if the mail is as good as it gets.
a huge fat thank you to miss Julie Havens for putting me up in SF and providing other hospitalities, I can’t wait to return the favor in January. whooo! lets see if we can get Evan to come to NY too. see you soon doode. I owe you a million whiskey sodas, sorry I spilled on your couch. oh yeah, there’s still some pizza sauce on one of the cushions.
to Comix Experience and Needle’s and Pens for all the support. it was good to see you guys, even if only briefly.
to SF for still being the best city ever and for not changing while I was gone. but that new Fritz in the mission…seriously dudes, wtf is up with that decor? it’s terrible!
and last but not least, to my family, who provided many much needed laughs and tom foolery. sorry I ate most of the peanut butter fudge. ma- everyone in SF loved your cookies!
other bullshit:
brooklyn kids, come to duckduck tomorrow night, it’s my birthday and I am officially halfway through my 20’s.

I know I’m late with this, but thank you for sleeping on my couch! Wine stains are gone and we miss you terribly!! This place just got real quiet again… see you next week!

I know exactly how you feel… I got the same feeling riding the BART away from the airport on my first time back to the city.

Fuck. This is bizarre I went to high school with Josh. For some reason I thought he sucked then. Ten years later I couldn’t tell you why. (Stupid adolescence.)
I was totally getting this Napa vibe from your comic. I love your drawing of the Brown’s Valley Coffee Shop and the “Clocktower” comment made me laugh so hard. Offer still stands if you need a place to crash in L.A. on your roadtrip.
