chicago pt1
Thursday, November 29th, 2007thanks to a little scrimping and begging, I’m back in New York, albeit two days late. I’m way behind in the missed connection comics so again, thanks for your patience if you sent something in and I haven’t responded. And sorry to all those who were playing scrabulous with me and the games died cause I had no internet for a week. I’ll be posting Chicago comics for a week or so, maybe more, probably almost every day. And don’t worry, it just gets worse from here, so there no shortage of comic fodder.
and a note to my downstairs neighbors: playing techno really loud before noon is not nice. NOT NICE! jerks.

i hate traveling in buses with toilets because they smell so rancid…i’ve never been on a train that reaked like wiz. so that alone…ugh. i can’t even imagine the rest of the nightmare known as your holiday “vacation”…

amazing (in the bad way)… sucks when you are looking forward to a nice/fun visit and then stuff goes the wrong way… glad you made it back though, at least we know there is a semi-happy ending to the story. Look forward to seeing more comics even if it is chronicling a horrific ordeal. Breathe in, breathe out.

One time I went on vacation to New Orleans and the plantation we were going to go on a tour of burnt down the day before we got there, and the bank lost Zane’s check so we also had no money for a week in a city where we didn’t know anyone. Fun times! The one redeeming thing about shitty vacations is that they give you a story to tell.
