awe… That kitty looks nothing like the one on your flickr but it sure is cute.
I listen to TOE and ISR + This american life, and I cant find anything else that’s interesting.
BTW, I felt “silly” today too when I heared that Kurt Vonnegut died :(((

I think that was a sign that after you move you need to adopt a kitty from the pound. There is probably a little lost kitty wandering Portland that is going to need a home once you move there.
My girlfriend and me are probably not going to have kids but we love our kitties.
Just don’t move to a no-cat apartment.

haha i love how the cat looks mad obviously agreeing with you in the fourth frame

Morning Becomes Eclectic is great on KCRW. And I’m a big fan of language learning podcasts like the French Podclass. I like to believe I’m learning through audio osmosis…just by having it on even if I’m not listening closely. Extra bounus: Sebastian’s accent is really cute when he’s explaining things in english.

the they might be giants podcasts is always good, but it doesn’t come out frequently enough. coverville is also excellent.

oh man, this one hurt. well, at least i know random cats aren’t sneaking in to steal all your secrets. i really liked its eyebrows. even your “stick figure” cartoons are great.

lol, i just read this to my sister and pointed out the finer points (eyebrows) and we both lol’d at the myspace frame. told her that’s why you’re my favorite cartoonist evar. i think i might add you on myspace now, if that’s cool.

I listen to “Keith And The Girl” every once and a while. As crude as your mind is, I bet you can relate this. It’s a podcast about a guy and his girlfriend and all they do is talk shit to each other. Here is the iTunes link.

When you get to Portland, get a kitty. Highly recommended, J. The little jerks do have a way of working their way into your heart.
I miss my little dog. Miss her everyday.
Podcasts: This American Life, Fresh Air w/ Terry Gross, http://www.comicspodcasts.com, http://www.wordballoon.com, artagogo.com/blog, http://www.idiotvox.com, etc.
That should keep you occupied for a while.

The Ricky Gervais show is great. I don’t think it’s running at the moment, but you could certainly get older podcasts of it off the internet. I also like books on tape/CD from the library.
Steal the Kitty back. I’m sure he likes you best anyway.

awww the ending is so sad…

man, i’m so curious as to what you’re referring to in the fourth panel.
The Sound of Young America is the best podcast in the world.
http://www.maximumfun.org
It’s talk and interviews, not music, so I’m not sure if it’s good for drawing or not.

Coast to Coast is a great listen (Especially Ian’s shows) if you’re into that kind of thing.

These damaged hand drawings are so expressive and loose.
great stuff.

This comic is tremendously beautiful. It’s a delight to visit your website and find jewels like these one so often.
May peace be with you..

I now have, thanks to Will, every episode of This American Life on my computer. Shall I make you some discs? Hmmm? Shall I?
April 13th, 2007 at 4:50 am
Another “get a cat,” here.
(Or at least draw more. The expressions are great.)
April 13th, 2007 at 5:17 am
your comics are my favorite. with that said, here are some podcasts that i, at least, enjoy,…
fluff in brooklyn (also an excellent photo-comic)
Oh La La-Franco A-Go-Go- a great podcast with swanky 60’s french jams
naughty karate (on hiatus right now, but the old episodes are great)
hometown tales-folk tales and ghost stories
uhhyeahdude-funny cats from hollywood
…also i second the sound of young america, Jessie Thorn has the dudiest voice around.

I like spy vs. pie popcast.
April 15th, 2007 at 7:54 pm
I am so proud to have been mentioned on fart party dot org.
Love,
Jesse from The Sound of Young America
PS: Have you tried WNYC’s Radio Lab? If you like Theory of Everything, you will like it.

I enjoy the “Under the Radar” podcast. Not sure what kind of music you like, but it’s pretty sweet.

I like the BBC’s The World in Words, being a big language geek. They do language-related news stories from around the world.
