The ending of Season 2 made me mad like a crazy person! I know that part of the fun of the show is the cliffhangers but COME ON! Also, I gotta hold off for Season 3 until it hits dvd as I have no tv and the commercial breaks really spoil it for me…..

I love the 2nd panel, great facial expression. I wish season 3 started already!

Exact same thing just happened to me with Carnivale, but here is the nasty part. I’d kill for one, but THERE IS NO SEASON THREE!!! And it is every bit as much a cliffhanger, with loose plot threads and all…
So which is worse?

It’s tv! There’s always more if the advertisers want there to be more. Sheesh.
You’re as bad as those stereotypical ladies who have to watch ‘their stories’. Same exact thing.
And don’t deny it.

Carnivale was the biggest blue-ball show ever. First, I was upset because it moved so danged slow and yet still held so much promise, and then it just went away.
I blame Lorne Michaels, just cuz it’s easy.

This is truly great!!! Wow!!! You have an amazing mind!

don’t worry, soon it’ll all end abruptly… just like Star Trek: Enterprise.

And here I thought you were talking about Battlestar Galactica’s Season Three. I’ve been waiting for both Lost and BSG for months now. I can’t believe they both start in the same week. I’m going to be ecstatic in a few days.

Yay! Lost 3.0!

I stayed up ’till 11:00 PM to see what would happen. I really wish I’d slept.

Battlestar Galactica? what the hell is that?
ladies who have to watch ‘their stories’? what the fuck is that?
what the hell are you fags talking about?!
September 28th, 2006 at 9:17 pm
Battlestar Galactica is a series like Lost, it goes on and on and unless you watch it at least semi-regularly it makes zero sense.
If there was a scale to measure how meaningful people’s lives were the bored hosewives who watch ‘their stories’ would be dangling at the bottom. These women actually care who Tom Cruise is married to at this given minute, worry about which actors might be gay and watch Entertainment Tonight. *shudders*

My name is Brian. And I have been addicted to t.v. before.
BABYLON 5. *hangs head in shame*

anything called galactica is gay and so are people who care enough about it to capitalize that shit

Julia,
In addition to the regular season, the producers are planning a series of mini-casts for Verizon which feature Hurley’s short videos he makes with a camcorder he finds on the island. I saw a few of them already and they allegedly will provide small clues in between the regularly broadcast episodes on TV. Yeah, something else to catch up on if you miss them.
I know there are more than a few theories out there, but here’s one that is a mind blower. DON’T look at it if you think it might spoil the show for you.

Now, now Elana. Proper nouns take capitals, don’t you know? Lower case is a pretension fit only for advertising executives.

It’s funny that this is still true today. Both Lost and Battlestar are in limbo. Mind you, Lost kind of jumped the shark a little while ago…
